Normally, I don’t like short stories…I like to lose myself in a full fledged novel and forget everything else. I talked to Anne Carpenter on Twitter and decided to give one of her short stories, her favorite one, a try. I was pleasantly surprised!

What a ride this one was! While it was short, it was jam packed with deceit, betrayal and revenge. Lots of fun! What an unbelievably ironic ending too…did NOT see that coming! I really liked this and hope to read some more from Ms. Carpenter!!

Upcoming Reviews

So, I know I have a backlog of past books read to post reviews of, but Twitter is putting me in touch with so many authors that I’m buying NEW books too! Recent Kindle purchases include: “The Book of Lost Souls” and “Don’t Fear the Reaper” by Michelle Muto, “Thread of Hope” by Jeff Shelby, “The Hunger Games” by Suzanne Collins, “A Lucky Break” by Terry Callister, “Hidden Intent” by Anne Carpenter (this one is my next read) and “Blood Awakening” by Wenona Hulsey.

You can see, it’s quite a variety of genre’s which I am really excited about! I am currently reading “Good for You” by Tammara Webber in between my son’s school projects and Valentines Day Party preparations. Normally, I’m faster on the read, but I also am designing two websites at the same time! Reviews will be posted as soon as I can! Have a GREAT day everyone!

This was so much fun to read….it’s filled with intrigue, past lives, love and unconditional determination.  You find yourself routing for all the characters in different ways….you want Scarlett to make certain choices, but you don’t want anyone else to get hurt.

My emotions went up and down as they all try to figure out how to fix their lives, the centuries past and the future.  This book brought smiles to my face many times….I can’t wait for the next book!!
