Absolutely fantastic is all I can say. Trapped was filled with horror and suspense with lots of gruesome images.  I am not normally into this type of book….it was VERY graphic and filled my brain with some pretty horrific images.  However, the story sucked me in and held on tight.  I found myself sitting in my rocking chair gripping the edges and rocking quickly back and forth as the suspense is overwhelming at times.  I mean this in a very good way.

I immediately recommended this to my husband when after THREE nights I had dreams related to the book and just couldn’t get it out of my mind!  He read it and was begging for the next book as soon as he finished.  I think you have to be in the mood for this genre….but if you are, hold on tight-this ride is insanity multiplied and SO much fun!!

Every once in a while, I get on a HUGE thriller/mystery kick.  I once spent months reading almost every Kay Scarpetta book by Patricia Cornwell.  I’ll get to those reviews at some point.  So I was looking for another author to fill my thriller fix when I came across Jeffrey Archer.

Not a Penny More, Not a Penny Less was an up and down thrill ride for sure.  It was filled with plotting and revenge, skepticism and blind trust and lots of money!  It’s set in some exotic locations which add to it’s intrigue and keeps you guessing right up until the end.  Great read!!

The List by J.A. Konrath

I started reading Jack Kilborn (aka J.A. Konrath) when I was in the mood for some good horror and suspense.  My husband is a hard core and long time Stephen King fan, but I just can’t seem to read his style of writing.  I found Jack Kilborn through a recommendation BY Stephen King.  I’ve read a bunch of his novels which you’ll see in my reviews and he’s fantastic!

The List is a fast paced thrill ride.  It’s not his typical horror, but it makes you laugh and keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time.  It’s a techno-thriller with an unusual premise and takes you out of your comfort zone.  It’s intriguing and suspenseful right until the end!
